Kurhaus Schwangau
features a conference- and event- room, a reading room for guests, public library, dancing bar, restaurant, café, patio, band-stand, and miniature golf.

Parks
„Kurpark Schwangau” (18 hectare), arose of a citizans’ initiative in 1938; “Schwansee park”, park surrounding the Schwansee lake – former royal park Hohenschwangau (45 hectare).

120 km of walking- and- hiking-paths, of which
75 km are located in an altitude between 800 and 900 m with a max. difference in altitude of 50 m.
30 km are located in an altitude between 800 and 1100 m with a difference in altitude  of 50-300 m.
about 50 km of the walking- and hiking-paths are cleared during the winter.
over 30 km of hiking paths in an altitude between 1.000-2.081 m.
40,2 km of Nordic-Walking-Routes, of which 21 km are classified as easy, 7,1 km as medium and 12,1 km as difficult.

90 km of biking-paths within the community area. In addition, long distance routes are passing Schwangau: Romantic Road Würzburg-Füssen, Lake Constance - Königssee lake.

- King-Ludwig-hiking path: Starnberger See – Füssen /- Lechhöhenweg: Landsberg – Füssen / - Romantic Road hiking path: Ostallgäu – Tirol /- Long distance walking path E 4 / -Ostallgäuer Wanderweg / - Ostallgäuer Höhenweg: Hindelang-Halblech / Maximilians’ way: Bodensee-Lech, Via Alpina: hiking path through 8 alpine states.

Royal Crystal Spa (open all over the year): Spa with 4 nature-medical- pools, outdoor pool with flow channel, outdoor panorama spa-pool, 7 saunas with different themes, fog grotto, Osmanic Hamam, 2 steam baths, salt steam bath, whirlpool, taning booths, crystal-meditation-grotto, medical health area, black mud, wellness and cosmetic treatments, free water gymnastics, restaurant, fashion and crystal store, bowling alleys.

Tegelbergbahn (Phone: +49-8362-98360, Fax: +49-8362-983620): cable car, 900 m difference in altitude (valley station 830 m, mountain station 1.730 m), 4 lifts, 6 snowguns (at the Falken- and Adlerlift), (since winter 2005/2006, also wintersport-arena tegelberg: night skiing with modern slope light at the Adler- und Reithlift as well as nordic skiing on the 2000m long nordic Neuschwanstein tracks. (Anniversary 2008: 40 Years Tegelbergbahn!) nordic activ center of the german ski association (32 km tracks, classic and skating), nature trails, panorama restaurant, Tegelberg-house (former royal hunting lodge) and the Rohrkopfhütte cabin. Other mountain cabins: Bleckenau, Drehhütte.
